President of Mardan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Provincial General Secretary of Markaz-e-Tanzeem Tajran Zahir Shah has completely rejected the excessive increase in the prices of petroleum products and gas by the government.
He said that due to the increase in petrol and gas prices the people and especially the business community are suffering from mental depression.
Zahir Shah said that the caretaker government suddenly increased the prices of petroleum products after which the business community oppressed by inflation cried out because the traders and common people are already under the burden of inflation and the increase in the prices of petroleum products from above will bring more storm of inflation and has made it has become difficult for people to earn their livelihood smoothly.
He said that increasing the prices of electricity and gas including petroleum products every fortnight is gradually increasing the problems of the people including the business community.
The government should give relief to the business community because if the business community is comfortable and prosperous then the country’s economy will be on the path of development and the country will develop so the government should immediately withdraw the increase in the prices of petrol and diesel if not so then the business community will have no option rather to protest.
