The 10th National Olive Festival 2025 was held in Allama Iqbal Park Rawalpindi under the auspices of Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Rawalpindi and in collaboration with Olive Foundation.
Member National Assembly Tahira Aurangzeb, Commissioner Rawalpindi Engineer Amir Khattak and DG PHA Rawalpindi Ahmed Hassan Ranjha attended the closing ceremony.
Other important personalities were also present along with the esteemed guests. Mrs. Tahira Aurangzeb, Commissioner Rawalpindi and DG PHA inspected various stalls in the festival, and appreciated the festival.
The arrangements were highly appreciated. Beautiful stalls of various products made from olives were decorated. In addition, stalls of various types of plants were also set up by PHA Rawalpindi.
A large number of people participated. On this occasion, the guests highly appreciated the festival arrangements of PHA Rawalpindi and emphasized the organization of such events to promote olive cultivation.
Ms. Tahir Aurangzeb, Commissioner Rawalpindi Amir Khattak were also presented with a special Ajrak of Wasib. DG PHA Rawalpindi Ahmed Hassan Ranjha was given a turban in appreciation of his efforts in organizing the event.
Later, Ms. Tahira Aurangzeb, Commissioner Rawalpindi Engineer Amir Khattak and Ahmed Hassan Ranjha also presented honorary shields to the organizers of the festival.
Ahmed Hassan Ranjha said that this festival is a tribute to those farmers who have contributed to Pakistan in the olive sector.
