11 outlaws including eight drug pushers held

Islamabad Police have arrested 11 outlaws including eight drug pushers from various areas of the city and recovered wine, narcotics, and weapons from them, a police spokesman said.
According to details, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan has ordered crackdown against criminals especially drug pushers.
Following these orders, DIG (Operations) Waqar Ud din Syed has directed all zonal officers to accelerate their efforts to curb the crime in the whole city and said that no laxity would be tolerated in this regard.
SP (Saddar Zone) Sarfraz Ahmed Virk constituted a police team under the supervision of ASP Rana Abdul Wahab including SHO Ramana police Station, ASI Muhmmad Ishfaq along with other arrested a lady accused namely Ayinke and recovered 70 bottles wine and beer from him.
Further –more Aabpara police arrested bootleggers namely Nabeel and recovered 20 liters wine from him.
Bhara Kahu police arrested four accused namely Kashif Hussain, Rizwan, Tasdaq and Jawad and recovered 470 gram hashish, four wine bottles and one 30 bore pistol from their possession.
Golra police arrested accused Muhammad Adil and recovered 10 liter alcohol from him. Shams colony police arrested accused Muhammad Nasir involved in illegally cylinder filling. Shahzad Town police arrested accused Junaid and recovered one 30 bore pistol from him.
KHanna police arrested a drug pusher namely Sohail and recovered 1120 gram hashish from him. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.

DIG (Operations) Islamabad Waqar Uddin Syed has appreciated the performance and directed all police officials for high vigilance and monitoring against those involved in anti-social activities.

He said that it is the collective responsibility of the every person of the society to remain alert against those involved in criminal activities in their surroundings and inform police for action against them.
