Ban is Imposed in Peshawar, Tank, Bannu, Hangu and other risky Cities
Peshawar(PR):Deputy Commissioner Peshawar under section 144 Cr.P.C has ordered that all Arms and Ammunition Factories and Arms Dealers Shops shall be closed from 08th, 09th and 10th Muharram-2016 for a period of three days in District Peshawar.
Any one found violating this order shall be proceeded against under section 188 P.P.C. This order shall come into force forthwith and shall remain enforced for 03-days unless modified or withdrawn.
In order to maintain peace and tranquility during Muharram all the exemption permits granted for relaxation of ban U/S 144 Cr.PC. for carrying of weapons within the limits of Peshawar District shall remain suspended from 1st Muharram to 10th Muharram-2016. This order was issued by Deputy Commissioner Peshawar under section 144 Cr.P.C.
Dy.Commissioner Tank Ahmad Khan has under section 144 Cr.PC imposed complete ban on the following activities from 1st to 10th Muharram-ul-Harram 2016 in District Tank.
The activities banned are carrying of all kind of Arms/Ammunitions and other lethal weapons cudgel, swords, spear, bludgeons, guns, knives, sticks or any other articles which are capable of being used for causing physical violence and the carrying of any corrosive substance or explosives, carrying, collection or preparation of stones or instruments of casting or impelling in public places, selling of open petrol.
, all kind o constructions on the route processions, playing of religious/sectarian audio/video cassettes, publications of objectionable religious sectarian posters, pamphlets, wall chalking and use of loud speakers, sound amplifiers at public places/streets, hate material/objectionable books, selling of LPG&CNG cylinder on the route of processions, pilling riding from 09th to 10th Muharram-ul-Harram, entry on banned Sunni Ulemas/Shia Zakirs in District Tank, fiery speeches delivered by Sunni/Shia speakers, public rallies/gatherings , standing at rooftops of all buildings/houses in the surrounding of the processions routes and Imambargahs, staying of strangers in hotels/serais and houses which fall on the routes of processions and Imambargah premises. Personnel of paramilitary, Civil Armed Forces are exempted from this order. This order shall extend to the entire District Tank and shall take effect from 1st Muharram-ul-Harram to 10th Muharram-ul-Harram midnight and shall remain enforced for a period of ten (10) days with effect from 1st to 10th Muharram-ul-Harram 2016 unless withdrawn or modified earlier. Any person contravening this order shall himself or themselves whatever the case may liable to be punished under 188 Pakistan Panel Code.Mean while The district administrations of Hangu and Bannu districts have imposed Section 144 in order to maintain peace during sensitive month of Muharramul Haram.
The district administration on Thursday imposed Section 144 to maintain peace during Muharram.The decision was taken during a jirga convened to review the security arrangements for forthcoming Muharram.
Representatives of Sunni and Shia sects, religious scholars, traders and officials of law enforcers attended the jirga.The district administration had convened the jirga. Deputy Commissioner Ihsanullah Khan presided over the sitting. The jirga reviewed the security arrangements for Muharram.
Ihsanullah Khan said that personnel of security forces, police, Frontier Constabulary and Frontier Corps would be deployed in the district to maintain peace during Muharram.The official said the entire district would be sealed off while checkpoints would be set up at the entry and exit points to the district. He urged the religious scholars and representatives of the two sects to promote interfaith harmony and provide full support to the administration to ensure peaceful observance of Muharram.
Our correspondent in bannu adds: District administration on Thursday announced to impose Section 144 of the law as a security measure on the occasion of Muharram. A notification issued here by the Deputy Commissioner Mian Adil Iqbal stated that strict action would be taken against the violators of the law during Muhrramul Haram.
Under Section 144, the district administration has restricted the public from climbing the high buildings near Imambargahs, assembly of more than five citizens at one place, renting out hotel rooms to strangers and people without national identity cards.
