PESHAWAR: District administration Peshawar arrested 16 milkmen during a crackdown on adulterators from various localities here on Tuesday. The administration has also discarded 20 litres of adulterated milk. On the directives of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Peshawar, Shah Fahad, the officers of district administration carried out raids on milkmen shops in Cantonment and interior city. Accompanied by the officials of the Livestock Department, the officers conducted the analysis of milk through modern milk testing laboratory, which confirmed the mixing of additional water in their product. Deputy Commissioner (DC) Peshawar has directed the officers of district administration for the inspection of the shops of milkmen and stern action after confirming adulteration in their product. APP
