LAHORE: 2 people including a woman died when high voltage wires fell on the ground due to negligence and carelessness of LESCO in Model Town area of the Provincial capital. As per details, the high voltage wires fell on unfortunate family riding a motorcycle in Model town Q block. A woman identified as Fatima died on the spot while Ayesha and her husband belonging to same family were also burnt. Locals shifted the affected people to the General Hospital with the help of rescue teams wherein Shehbaz succumbed to injuries. Naveed the second motorcyclist who was passing through this road was also electrocuted by the electric wires and was injured. He was also shifted to the General Hospital for treatment. According to local people, there was a problem of electricity load in the area for a month. After taking necessary action, police have shifted the dead bodies of Fatima and Shehbaz to the mortuary for post mortem. According to sources, a case will be registered on receipt of application of the heirs. Online
