Two Kabul bound tourists from Russia were not allowed to cross the border to Afghanistan via Torkham due to improper travelling documents.
Assistant Director Federal Inelegance Agency (FIA)Torkham said that last day two foreign tourists(a male and female Russian )approached the pedestrian terminal,Torkham, to move across the border.
While checking their travelling documents,they found that their visa had expired and they were over stayed.
The FIA officials asked them to produce an exit permit to cross the border to Afghanistan and were sent back to Peshawar.
As per regulation they had 15 days relaxation in visa expiry process but beyond that the travelers had to contact the Interior Ministry, FIA official informed.
