3-day Technology Competition event held

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority in collaboration with FAST National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, held a three-day Technology Competition event at its Peshawar campus.
The event featured a wide range of technical and non-technical competitions, as well as social activities such as Qawali performances, concerts and sports events. Participants also got the opportunity to explore cultural food stalls and company exhibits.
On the final day, the Culture and Tourism Authority arranged a city tour for those participants who travelled from different parts of the country for attending this event.
During the prize distribution ceremony, Mr. Bakhtiar Khan, Director General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority, graced the occasion as the chief guest, while Director Khurshid Alam was an honorary guest.
Prizes were distributed among the competition winners during the ceremony. In his speech, Director General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority emphasized the vital role of academia in nation-building and the significance of creativity and innovation in generating competitive global demands.
He further added that without the culture of research innovation and creativity, nations cannot prosper. He praised the management of the University for Success fully organizing the technology competition event and highlighted the need for universities to collaborate with the industry to promote research and innovation.
Director Campus FAST Dr Omar Osman expressed gratitude to the Director General for attending the event and shared his vision of creating stronger university-industry linkages to foster innovation and promote research in Pakistan. The event provided an exceptional opportunity for students and professionals to showcase their skills and knowledge.
