37 VCs members of Bannu formally announce joining PTI

Thirty seven (37) newly elected members of the village councils of Bannu Tuesday called on Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan and formally announced joining PTI.
The newly elected members of the village councils were included Sikandar Hayat Khan, Hamidullah Khan, Mohammad Israr Khan, Malik Shakil Khan, Malik Hizbullah Khan, Mohammad Wazir Khan, Naveedullah, Sharif Zaman, Qazi Arifullah, Omar Daraz Khan, Fayyaz Khan and others.
Provincial Minister Faisal Amin Khan Gandapur, MPA Pakhtun Yar Khan and newly elected chairman Tehsil Miriyan, Pir Kamal Shah were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister welcomed the new entrants into the party fold and said that the joining of elected public representatives of the local government in PTI speaks of full public confidence in the present government and Prime Minister Imran Khan. He said that the joining of elected local public representatives will further strengthen the party.
The chief minister said that the PTI has shown good performance in the local bodies’ polls of Bannu and expressed the hope that in next general elections, the party would show further better performance in the district.
He said that for the first time direct elections were held for the post of tehsil chairman, whose credit goes to Prime Minister Imran Khan and incumbent government.
He said that PTI believes in the devolution of powers to grass-root level in real sense, saying the local governments established under the new local government law would empower the masses and most of their problems would be resolved at local level.
The chief minister urged the newly elected local government representatives to play their effective role in highlighting the problems of their respective areas. For the resolution of the problems of the people, the chief minister assured them all possible cooperation.
