According to the WB 2021 estimates, 39.2% Pakistanis are the victims of poverty, fighting with hardships every day to meet their basic needs. Under these circumstances they can barely afford one meal a day and they live below the poverty line which means that they cannot even afford a shelter.
On the other hand, viral diseases like flu etc are being neglected since many people in Pakistan are unable to meet the expense of medical care. This in turn becomes the cause of various chronic illnesses.
For the second time in Pakistan, ZAIN for HEARTS had organized a medical camp for the underprivileged where general medicines for viral diseases were distributed free among more than 300 people.
Also, qualified and professional medical staff of PIMS hospital and SHIFA hospital Islamabad joined the medical camp to provide free medical consultations to people. This medical camp was a huge initiative towards the control of these common illnesses in Pakistan. ZAIN for HEARTS medical camp was monitored solely by volunteers from Imran Khan’s Tiger Force.
Rubab Mehdi, Regional Commissioner KPK, attended the medical camp as Chief Guest and appreciated the efforts being extended for the less privileged people in the rural areas.
