ISLAMABAD
4 state power plants have agreed to scale down tariff.
The four government power plants have expressed their willingness to provide electricity on the basis of take and pay. In this regard Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA) has filed application with National Power Regulatory Authority (NPRA) formally.
The hearing of the application filed by 4 power plants for reduction in tariff will take place on April 24.
It is pertinent to mention here power tariff of National Power Parks Management company Balloki will be reduced.
Likewise electricity tariff of National Power Parks Management company Haveli Bahadar will also be curtailed.
Power tariff of central power generation company will also be slashed.
The plea for curtailment in power tariff of Northern Power Generation Nandi Pur is also part of the application related to reduction in electricity tariff.
