ISLAMABAD
PTI workers have got a big relief in appeal pleas in the cases related to May 9 as Islamabad High Court (IHC) has acquitted 4 PTI workers. Justice Azam Khan and Justice Khadim Soomro announced the decision after hearing arguments of respondents.
Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) had awarded 10 years punishment. The PTI workers who have been acquitted include Sohail, Shah Zeb, Meera Khan and Ikram Khan.
ATC Islamabad had announced punishment on May 30. 11 criminals including PTI MNA Abdul Latif were awarded punishment.
4 among 11 culprits were acquitted by IHC Thursday.
