One held as rival group clash
PESHAWAR: Police arrested a person on Friday in an operation against two groups who were clashing over a land dispute in Rehanabad area of Bhanamani Police Station. The operation against the armed group was conducted under the supervision of DSP Yekatut Circle Tawheed Khan, SHO Police Station Bhanamani Ajmal Hayat and others policemen. Police arrested the armed accused on the plot dispute while the other accused left their weapons and fled away the area after seeing police party. The armed group was spreading fear and panic in the area,. However, as soon as the incident was reported police reached and arrested a member of the rival group. Police said that the arrested person has been identified as Numan while other accomplice left leaving weapons. A special team has been formed for the arrest of other accused, against whom a case has been registered and investigation has been started from different angles. Crime Reporter
