The district administration and police conducted a joint operation against encroachment at Ramadas bazaar, bulldozing 450 illegal shops there.
Under the clear directives of the provincial government and its vision to make the city organized, spacious, and free of encroachments, the district administration of Peshawar is continuously carrying out coordinated and effective anti-encroachment operations.
In this regard, on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Peshawar, Captain (Retd.) Sanaullah Khan, a large-scale anti-encroachment operation was conducted in Ramdas Bazaar, where all kinds of encroachments were completely removed from approximately 450 shops and locations.
The operation was supervised by the Additional Assistant Commissioner (City), with active participation from the Capital Metropolitan Government East, Civil Defense staff, and the local police.
They effectively ensured the removal of obstacles and the cleaning of the bazaar. Security arrangements remained fully active to deal with any resistance or emergency situation during the operation.
The district administration clarified that the purpose of this operation is not only to eliminate encroachments but also to establish a sustainable, organized, and business-friendly environment, which will improve civic facilities.
The administration appealed to the traders community and local residents to continue cooperating in the future to help maintain a clean, organized, and spacious city.
