5.3 magnitude tremors felt in parts of KP

PESHAWAR
An earthquake measuring 5.3 on international Richter scale on Friday jolted parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at around 12 p.m. the Met office informed.
The epicenter of the earthquake was reported in the middle mountainous range of Afghanistan and Tajikistan at a depth of 180 kilometers.
The tremors were felt in Peshawar, Swat, Malakand, Chitral, Mingora, Mansehra, Hazara Division and adjacent areas.
The earthquake created panic among the people however no loss to life or property was reported till filing of this report.
