At least 5 students got injured during a clash between the Pukhtoon Students Federation (Pk.S.F) and the Insaf Students Federation (ISF) a student wing of ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf after a clash in Abdul Wali Khan University (AWKUM) here on Tuesday, police and university sources said.
Sources added that Mohammad Hamza, an activist of Insaf Student Federation (ISF) told police that he along with his other companion were present at the Bus stop at Abdul Wali Khan University. He told police that during that time Kabir, Azaz, Babar, Ali Khattak, Emad, Ebad, Ahmed Yar, Ahmed, Abdullah, Yasar Malak, Zeeshan along with other 20 to 25 students reached there.
He told police that they started beating them with pistols and weapons.
He added that as a result he, Sakandar Ayaz, Zaeen, Wajid and Yasar got injured. He told police that the motive behind the incident was that they were wearing the PTI cap while the students of Pk.S.F were stopping us from wearing the PTI caps. Police registered a case and started investigations.
