PESHAWAR: The Capital City Police Peshawar arrested 53 outlaws including drug pushers, recovered cache of arms, drugs during search and strike operations in different areas of the provincial capital on Sunday. In line with the directives SSP (Operation), Javed Iqbal, the police teams also assisted by ladies police and sniffer dogs conducted search and strike operations in jurisdiction of Chamkani police station, Arif Town of Khazana, Gharibabad, Gulabad areas of Paharipura, Bhana Mari, Mena Bazaar in Kotwali and Pishtakhara police station jurisdictions. During separate actions, the police arrested 53 outlaws including nine drug pushers, recovered 22 pistols, one Kalashnikov, two guns, hundreds of rounds of different bores, 20 kilogram hashish, two kilogram heroin and six bottles liquor. The police confiscated the recovered weapons, drugs and after registering separate cases against the detainees at the concerned police stations have started investigation. INP
