PESHAWAR: Excise police in Mardan district carried out an operation against narcotics dealers by foiling an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of drugs. During the operation, 60 kilograms of high-quality hashish were recovered, and four suspects arrested on the spot. Excise police’s spokesman told media that based on a tip-off, a vehicle bearing registration number ANV 934 Islamabad was stopped and searched near Ring Road towards Chamtar Chowk. During the search, 60 kilogram of high-quality hashish were recovered, and four suspects were taken into custody at the scene. A case has been registered at Mardan Police Station against the accused for further investigation.
