Police have launched a comprehensive crackdown against the criminals and arrested more than 600 suspect criminals people during the last one month, said a handout released here on Wednesday.
Police during the operations against the criminal’s activities in ongoing year seized a total of 51 Kalashnikovs, 37 shotguns, 68 rifles, 8 Kalakos, 715 pistols and more than 66,000 different bore cartridges.
CCPO Abbas Ahsan while expressing satisfaction over ongoing the operations in the provincial capital, has said that protection of life and property of the citizens was the top most priority of the police.
He said that nose around the criminals has been tightened; adding that crackdown against the anti-social elements and criminal elements will be continued.
