DIR LOWER
Competition between 63 candidates including Independent, for the Chairmanship of 7 Tehsils of Dir Lower District. For the first time, Tehreek-e-Islah Pakistan and Allah Akbar Tehreek candidates are participating in the election process. A total of 63 candidates came forward for the Chairmanship of seven Tehsils of Dir Lower district. For the first time in the second phase of local body elections, Tehreek-e-Islah Pakistan (TLP) and Allah Akbar Tehreek candidates are contesting.
According to the final list released by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), 11 candidates will contest for the Chairmanship of Adenzai Tehsil, including Syed Latif Ahmed ANP, Abdul Hassan TLP, Azizullah Khan JI, Barrister Ataullah PML-N, Imran Khan (Independent), Farooq Rehman (Independent), Feroz Shah PTI Qazi Jalaluddin QWP, Naeemullah PPP and Nazir Muhammad (Independent) will contest the election.
Similarly, a total of 13 candidates are facing each other in Temergarh Tehsil including Ajmer Khan (Independent), Barkat Khan PPP, Muhammad Hussain Khan (Independent), Riaz Muhammad JI, Sajjad Ahmed ANP, Sultan Zeb (Independent), Shah Khidr QWP, Abdul Rauf (Independent), Mufti Irfanuddin JUIF, Kashif Kamal PTI, Mohammad Israr (Independent), Mohammad Inam Khan (Independent) and Mohammad Obaid Tehreek-e-Islah Pakistan (TIP).
Similarly, for Tehsil Blumbat, 7 candidates will be contesting for the chairmanship, including Hanifullah JUI-F, Syed Alam Shah (Independent), Asim Shoaib. Shoaib PTI, Imranuddin JI, Muhammad Ayub Khan ANP, Mazhar Hussain PPP and Yasir Shah PML-N. Ashfaq-ur-Rehman PTI, Rahimullah JUIF, Tufail Mohammad PPP, Kaleemullah JI and Malik Mohammad Noman PML-N.
A total of 6 candidates are contesting in Manda Tehsil including Haji Inayatullah ANP, Abdul Rehman PTI, Humayun Khan JI, Majid Khan PPP, Khursheed Khan JUI-F and Noor Rehman Musa Khel PML-N. And in Samarbagh Tehsil, a total of 9 candidates are contesting election for the chairmanship seat including Jawad Khan PTI, Saeed Ahmed JI, Siddiqullah Allah Akbar Tehreek, Ali Shah Mashwani (Independent), Qaiser Shah PPP, Muhammad Zaman Khan PML-N, Mehboob Yar Khan (Independent), Noor Zaman Khan JUI-F and Hidayat-ur-Rehman ANP besides Farooq Rehman, Malik Inam Khan, Syed Alam, Ali Shah Mashwani and Malik Abdullah Shah are PTI workers contesting the elections as independent candidates.
Likewise, in Tehsil Lal Qila Maidan, a total of 11 candidates are facing each other including Ashrafuddin PTI, Sajid Iqbal PPP, Syed Ahmed (Independent), Umar Zaman ANP, Ghulam Nabi (Independent), Fazal Wadud JI, Qadir Jan (Independent). Muhammad Khalidullah Akbar Tehreek, Mukhtiar Ali PML-N, Malik Abdullah Shah (Independent) and Wazirzada JUIF.
