As many as 79 people died and 4619 people tested positive due to corona virus during last 24 hours in the country.
According to the National Command and Operation Center Friday data tally of fatalities has soared to 24,266 and the total number of cases has ascended to 1,089,913.
59,504 COVD-19 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, of which 4,619 came back positive. The positivity rate stands at 7.76%.
The statistics said 3,937 patients were recovered in the last 24 hours across the country taking the number of recoveries to 979,411. The active cases stand at 86,236.
