PESHAWAR: A total of 89 candidates were contesting on seven tehsil Mayour seats of district Dir Lower in 2nd phase of Local government elections that would be held on March 31, said Returning Officer on Sunday. According to details issued by concerned RO, 89 candidates would contest on seven slots of tehsil mayors, 594 candidates on village and neighbourhood councils and 1509 persons were contesting for general seats. On a total of 198 women, farmer, and youth seats, 869, 495, and 810 candidates would contest LG’s elections, respectively. Similarly, 16 candidates were contesting on 16 minority seats. APP
