Rawalpindi: An operation has been launched against illegal housing societies by Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA). According to RDA, boundary walls, entrance gates and site offices of housing societies including constructions in 9 illegal housing societies were demolished during operation. According to RDA, owners of illegal housing societies are also accused of land encroachment. RDA said that citizens should avoid investing in illegal housing societies.
