Islamabad: China has remained top of the list in making Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Pakistan while Norway second and Malta remained third respectively during current fiscal year. According to statistics issued by Central Bank, China made FDI to the tune of 532.8 million dollar during July to January 2019-20 while in last year during the corresponding period from July to January China had made 282.6 dollar FDI in Pakistan. A remarkable increase of 250.2 million dollar has been recorded of Chinese FDI as compared to last year. According to State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Norway has made 288.5 million dollar FDI while Norway had made FDI only 3.9 million dollar during the corresponding period in last year. Online
