Akbar Ayub Khan, Advisor to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has said Haripur bypass is historical dual carriage road for all heavy traffic to reduce rush, jams in the city and ensure smooth passage of vehicles traveling up and down divisional headquarter Abbottbad bypassing congested roads and bazaars of Haripur.
He was addressing public meeting at Mohallah Hajipir after inauguration and inspection of various roads and streets pavement schemes in Serai Saleh area of Haripur on Sunday.
The local elite including village nazim Liaqat Khan, Waheed Khan and local Ulema thanked Akbar Ayub Khan for completing record development schemes and launching new ones in PK-50.
Akbar Ayub Khan said that plans of a ring road around this thickly city, plantation and beautification downtown are also being actively pursued as part of green and clean Haripur that will benefit our future generations as well.
He added that his PTI-led coalition government was bent upon to bring about revolution in communication sector with new highways schemes.
“Rs 2.5 billion are spent on road sector only in Hazara division up till now whereas funds will be doubled for next fiscal year”, he revealed.
The advisor in address assured that there would be no single road and street left unpaved in Serai Saleh soon.
