“Nawaz should prove himself as a real democrat”

Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has expressed reservations over the population and housing census and said issues are resolved before moving ahead with the exercise.
Talking to media persons at the residence of late Senator Kazim here Wednesday, the PPP chairman hoped that the population census would not be made controversial.
Answering a question about reports that the government would initiate cases against PTI chairman Imran Khan under cybercrime and defamation laws, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari termed it as an attack on democracy and freedom of speech.
He said Nawaz remained PM for three times and he should prove himself as a real democrat.
He said the PPP would oppose this move by the government. He said media is an asset and should have complete freedom.
To another question, he said he did not get security in Punjab and his Multan public meeting was cancelled for this purpose. At the same time PPP activists are being killed in Punjab while the situation in Sindh is far better.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said they would welcome the Prime Minister in Sindh and provide security for holding public meetings in the province.
