Yousaf Naseem Khokar Federal Secretary Ministry of Water & Power along with Managing Director PEPCO and other Ministry officials visited IESCO Head Office Islamabad. He received warm welcome by Muhammad Nadeem Khan IESCO Chairman BOD, Management and Union representatives. Chairman BOD introduced IESCO Chief Mr. Basit Zaman Ahmed and officers. During briefing IESCO Chief told to Federal Secretary about company profile, New Projects for better customer services and continuous Electricity supply, Mobile Meter Reading accuracy, Roshni SMS Service 8398, Recovery Position from Private & Government Sectors.
He told to Federal Secretary that according to KPI IESCO is the best Distribution Company among all DISCO’s. For interrupted Power Supply New Grid Stations are being constructed and up gradation of Grids is also in process. Muhammad Nadeem Khan, Chairman BOD IESCO said that it’s a great honor for him/IESCO that Mr. Yousef Naseem Kohkar as a Federal Secretary selected IESCO for his first visit.
He said that he is working on those projects which are parallel beneficial for customers and for company. For better services to customers constructing more customer care center, providing online services. For employees constructing IESCO Head Office building, IESCO Hospital and renovating old building.
He told to Federal Secretary that IESCO is facing staff shortage issue, which is definitely effecting IESCO efficiency/results.
He gave the idea of green energy which will provide neat and clean energy to customers. Federal Secretary appreciated the working of IESCO and said that under the leadership of Muhammad Nadeem Khan IESCO services stander will improve.
He also appreciated the IESCO Efforts by introducing new projects and better plans for customer care. He admit that IESCO has good officers, strong distribution system and providing best services to its customers.
He said that according to the vision of Government of Pakistan his top priority is to get rid of load shedding and improvement of Distribution system. In the end IESCO Management presented shields to Federal Secretary Ministry Water & Power and Managing Director PEPCO.
