Cares 1122 of Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI) received 128 calls of different emergency nature during the first fifteen days of April. All calls were responded promptly and after providing first aid the victims of different incidents were shifted to nearest medical facility.
This was informed during a meeting held at Capital Development Authority (CDA) Headquarters here on Monday.
The meeting was chaired by Mayor of Islamabad and Chairman CDA, Sheikh Anser Aziz and also attended by the senior officers of MCI. The meeting reviewed the fortnight performance of Cares-1122.
On this occasion, Mayor of Islamabad and Chairman CDA Sheikh Anser Aziz was apprised that most of the calls received during the first fifteen days were pertaining to
Road Traffic Accidents which were 57 in number.
Furthermore, 30 calls regarding unconscious cases from the areas of G-9/3, I-10/1, F-8/3, I-10/1, Karal Chowk, F-8 Markaz, Sohan Union Council, I-8 Markaz, Usmania Market, sector F-8/4, Faisal Movers near Chungi 26, Shell Pump Mandi Morr and Gulshan-e-Hudda Chattha Bakhtawar were also recieved.
The patients were shifted to PIMS, CDA Hospital, Poly Clinic,
Arman Hospital and other nearby medical facilities.
