DPM Ishaq Dar visits Data Darbar, reviews development projects and facilities

Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) Muhammad Ishaq Dar visited the shrine of Hazrat Ali Hujwiri (RA), popularly known as Data Ganj Bakhsh, here on Saturday, where he offered Fateha, and prayed for the security and prosperity of the country as well as the unity of the Muslim Ummah.
Upon his arrival, the Deputy Prime Minister was received by Secretary Auqaf Dr. Ehsan Bhutta and Administrator Data Darbar Muhammad Ali Khan.
The Deputy Prime Minister also chaired a meeting regarding ongoing development projects and bath (ghusl) arrangements at the shrine complex. The meeting was attended by Senior Member Board of Revenue (SMBR) Nabeel Javed, Secretary Auqaf Dr. Ehsan Bhutta, Administrator Data Darbar Muhammad Ali Khan and other senior officials.
During the briefing, Secretary Auqaf Dr. Ehsan Bhutta apprised the Deputy Prime Minister in detail about the ongoing development initiatives, renovation works and administrative measures being undertaken at the shrine to facilitate pilgrims and visitors.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar appreciated the ongoing development and beautification works at Data Darbar. He directed the authorities to further improve facilities for pilgrims, especially ensuring exemplary arrangements during the ghusl ceremony so that devotees may be provided maximum convenience and comfort.
He emphasized that provision of high-quality facilities for visitors at the shrine was a priority and all possible steps should be taken in this regard in an efficient and coordinated manner
