100 people with UK travel history identified in KP

The provincial government has initiated the process of collecting data of those people who have recently been returned from the United Kingdom (UK) to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
In this connection, the provincial government has sought the help of the federal government for providing the details of the passenger’s returning from the UK to KP.
According to the report of the health department, letters were sent to the health department and deputy commissioners to search for 101 people who have the history of UK travelling in the near past.
People who have returned from the UK belong to districts, including Mardan, Abbottabad, Swat and Nowshera.
According to health department officials, returning people will be traced and tested for coronavirus, adding the government has been vigilant about looking for new variants and following the people who came back home from England.
People who have been confirmed to have corona will be quarantined.
The international media has reported that a new variant of the coronavirus is spreading rapidly in England and raising international alarms.
This new variant now accounts for more than 60% of the cases in London. And scientists believed that the variant is likely more contagious than previous versions of the virus.
The world after the news has ordered closed international travel to the United Kingdom.
The British government has locked down much of the country. The new variant likely is more transmissible than the previous version of the virus.
And scientists all over the world are rushing to figure out how the virus mutated and how big a threat the new variant poses.
