Pakistan immensely contributed to world peace: Murad

Minister for Communications Murad Saeed has said Pakistan has immensely contributed to the world peace.
Addressing a ceremony in connection with Police Martyrs Day in Islamabad, he said it is because of sacrifices of our security personnel including police force that peace stands restored in the country and it is opening up for economic and tourism activities.
The Minister for Communications said India is involved in conspiracies against Pakistan. He said the EU DisinfoLab exposed the true face of India before the world as it how it has remained involved in propaganda campaign against Pakistan.
Police Martyrs’ Day was being observed across the country Wednesday, to pay tribute to the sacrifices of police officers and jawans who laid their lives for protection of the motherland.
Special ceremonies were held in this regard across the country today and floral wreaths will be laid on graves and monuments of martyrs of the police.
President Dr. Arif Alvi held telephonic conversation with the family members of Pakistan Army personnel Captain Basit Ali and Sepoy Hazrat Bilal who embraced martyrdom during an operation in Khurram District.
The President commiserated with the bereaved families and prayed for the higher ranks of the martyrs.
President Arif Alvi also telephoned the family of Captain Affan Masood who embraced martyrdom in Pasni. He appreciated the services of the martyr.
Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has paid tributes to the martyrs of Pakistan Police on Police Martyrs Day.
In a statement, the Army Chief said Pakistan Police has made monumental sacrifices in the line of duty over the years and contributed immensely in bringing peace and stability to the country.
