PESHAWAR: Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Peshawar City President Zulfiqar Afghani and General Secretary Zulfiqar Awan Friday strongly condemned alleged interference of MNAs and MPAs in cantonment board election campaigns and urged the Election Commission to take notice of violations of code of conduct. Zulfiqar said that MNAs and MPAs are installing transformers, tube wells in various wards in violation of code of conduct while the government resources and machineries were being used on development projects in different wards. He said that Election Commission should ensure fair and transparent elections by taking action against the parliamentarians. APP
