Supreme Court (SC) has dismissed bail before arrest plea of a man accused in committing fraud of Rs 20 million with a citizen in the name of money exchange.
The police arrested the accused Sarfraz Sadiq outside SC following rejection of his bail plea by the court.
A 3-member bench of SC presided over by Justice Sardar Tariq Masood took up the case for hearing Thursday.
The counsel for the petitioner took the plea during the hearing of the case the accused Sarfraz Sadiq committed fraud of Rs 20 million in the name of money exchange and fled Bahrain. The accused is resident of Islamabad.
The court dismissed the bail before arrest plea of accused Sarfraz Sadiq for filing fake documents.
Earlier the session’s court had granted interim bail to the accused Sarfraz Sadiq. Islamabad High Court had rejected the bail of the suspect. The accused had filed bail plea in SC.
