Islamabad: Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has extended admission deadline for the programs offered in autumn 2021 semester including matriculation and intermediate programs on the basis of hundreds of requests received from result awaiting students of Secondary School Certificate (Matric) of different educational boards. Interested candidates can now apply for admission in these programs till October 14 with late fee charges. While granting extension, the VC, AIOU said that it is our national responsibility to facilitate Pakistani youth who is eager to be educated to earn respectable livelihood. Director Admission, Syed Zia Ul Husnain said that this extension is effective for continuing students as well. They can also get admission in forthcoming semester with late fee charges. However, admission can only be applied online during the extended period. Admission application form and prospectuses are available online. After completing online admission form, fee can be deposited in any branch of ABL, MCB, UBL,FWB through bank challan till the deadline. All banks have been communicated to process admission fee in accordance with the revised date. Our Correspondent
