KANDHKOT: Unannounced and unscheduled load shedding of 12 to 14 hours has become a daily routine in subdivision Kandhkot especially 2,3 and 4 feeders. The artificial load shedding is also recorded in various parts of the district in this connection dozens of people from Eid Gah, Gulsher Mohallah, Malik Mohallah and Bhutta Street recorded their protest demonstration against Wapda officials. They were carrying banners and play cards inscribed slogans against SEPCO authorities. Protesters namely Wazir Ali, Mahendra Kumar, Sham Lal, Shahbaz and others said that due to prolonged power outages in different areas of Kandhkot their lives had been paralysed. They complained people from Subdivisional Kandhkot have been facing 14 to 16 hours last for five to six months which is clearly injustice. They complained due to high power breakdown, the businesses came to complete halt which is causing loss of millions of rupees on daily basis. They demanded from high authorities to take notice of artificial and prolonged power load shedding otherwise protest would be extended. Finally they dispersed peacefully. Our Correspondent
