KARACHI: While adjudicating a plea challenging appointment of administrators in the province on Friday the Sindh High Court rejected the request to issue notices to respondents in the matter. Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Member Provincial Assembly Khawaja Izharul has challenged the appointment of politicians as administrators of Karachi, and other cities of Sindh making secretary local government, administrator Karachi, the election commission and others as respondents. The petitioner requested the high court to issue an order to the provincial government for holding the local government elections immediately. He also sought the court’s restraining order for the government over posting of the bureaucrats on political grounds as administrators in Sindh. TLTP
