JI Mardan presents six-point manifesto for development

Jamaat-e-Islami candidate for the slot of mayor of Tehsil Mardan , Mushtaq Simab presented a six-point manifesto for the development of Mardan including Education, health, employment, law and order, sports and clean men.
Addressing a news conference Mushtaq Simab announced his manifesto. Manzoor-ul-Haq, Naib Amir Ibrahim Buland, Saeed Akhtar Advocate, Alam Zeb Khan and Emad Akbar Hassan were also present at this occasion. He said that the people of Mardan are politically savvy.
He added that the people of Mardan will use their vote for scale for a better future. Introducing his manifesto, he said that free and compulsory education would be ensured for students from 3 to 18 years.
He added that the condition of educational institutions will be improved and scholarships will be provided for higher education to the poor students and will make the environment of educational institutions education friendly.He said that provision of clean water in Mardan, improvement of sanitation situation, improvement of canal system for elimination of water pollution and making the environment healthy are part of the manifesto.
He said that providing employment opportunities to the youth with higher education, introducing self-employment scheme, providing interest free business loans to the youth up to Rs.2 lakh.
He said that his manifesto was to rid the men of drugs, control the chaotic traffic, create an environment free from harassment of youth especially children and women, make police stations, courts and tribunals people friendly, and further improve the jirga system is part of his manifesto.
He further said that thousands of trees will be planted to make Mardan clean and beautiful, clean the canal system from pollution and dirty drains, remove illegal constructions, illegal parking, illegal bases, sidewalks, roads.
He added that big sports grounds for the youth will be constructed to promote sports activities at the government level and promoting local sports along with national sports is in his manifesto. He hoped that the people of Mardan would stamp on the scale on December 19.
