Nation will observe ‘Dhaka fall day’ today countrywide with seminars and ceremonies, it emerged Thursday. East Pakistan turned into Bangladesh on December 16 1971, after the war erupted between India and Pakistan. Remaining West Pakistan constituted a commission named as ‘Hamood-ur-rehman commission’ to dig out root causes of Dhaka tragedy but commission’s findings are unrevealed yet, despite passing five decades. Special ceremonies will be held in schools and other forums to remember tragedies of 1971 war and disintegration of East and West Pakistan.
