District Police Officer Bajaur Abdul Samad Khan Saturday said that the personnel of the Bajaur Police went under rigorous training including use of heavy weapons besides tested long range weapons at the firing range.
According to a detail given by District Police Chief (DPO) Abdul Samad Khan to the media men, he said, the purpose of the training is to train police personnel on the use of heavy weapons. He said for the first time in the history of the district, the training is being conducted under the supervision of Pakistan Army experts.
He said during the training, hundreds of police personnel will also be given practical training on long range fire. The training, he said, was conducted under the special direction of Deputy Inspector General of Police, Malakand Division, Zeeshan Asghar, with the aim of enhancing the professionalism of the police personnel. The training was formally inaugurated by DPO Abdul Samad Khan.
