Major postings, transfers on the card in KP bureaucracy

DCs, Commissioners of several districts likely to changed, sources
PESHAWAR
The provincial government has completed a consultation phase to reshuffle a number of senior officers of the civil bureaucracy, said sources.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government is likely to replace several administrative secretaries including four divisional commissioners and 14 deputy commissioners.
The high-level committee set up to put forward recommendations about posting and transfers after detailed consultations in two successive meetings.
According to sources, the KP government has decided to replace the local government, director generals of several authorities, and administrative secretaries.
Commissioner Bannu, Commissioner Malakand, Commissioner Kohat and several other commissioners might be transferred and likely to be given new responsibilities.
Moreover, districts Bannu Lakki Marwat Dir Charsadda Kohat Mohmand Abbottabad Chitral Karam Haripur DI Khan Tank and Orakzai Deputy Commissioners are likely to be replaced.
Earlier, it was decided in the high level committee to replace DC Peshawar and DC North Waziristan. However, the decision was held back.
Senior bureaucrats Javed Marwat Jaber Shah Zaheerul Islam and Shaukat Ali Yousafzai are likely to be given new important responsibilities in the province. The notification regarding the aforementioned reshuffle in the civil bureaucracy may be issued in the next couple of days.
