ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senator Faisal Javed Khan Sunday said that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s focus was on increasing exports to accelerate economic growth. “By God’s will, we will double our IT industry in two years” Faisal said, in a message on social networking site Twitter. Faisal Javed said that tech zones are being set up to create jobs and attract international investors. “Today we are the third largest gig economy in the world” he wrote. He said that Pakistan has surpassed the highest IT exports in six months. Our IT exports during the financial year 21/22 so far are 30 1.302 billion – this is a significant increase of 36% over the same period last year, hopefully inshallah. They will be able to cross the 3.5 3.5 billion mark this fiscal year. ONLINE
