The district administration provided tents, blankets and other necessary commodities to the rain affected families here in various areas of sub-division Landi Kotal last day.
Prior to it, Additional Assistant Commissioner (AAC),Landi Kotal Ashrafuddin visited different localities and inspected the rooms and walls, demolished in last day’s downpour.
He distributed tents, blankets and other needed goods among the effected families and assured every possible assistance to them.
Speaking on the occasion the AAC,Landi Kotal said that details of the rain effected families have been dispatched to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority(PDMA) for financial support.
The government will never leave the rain effectees and will provide relief in the time of need, he remarked.
It is to be mentioned here that the number of rooms and boundary walls have tumbled during the last day of severe rain.
