ISLAMABAD (INP): Islamabad Police performed extensive rehearsal to meet any kind of emergency situation through SOS call at dunia news office.
Senior officials including Bomb disposal squad, police Commandos, Pakistan Rangers, Rescue 15, CID, CIA & Special Branch of Islamabad police, Traffic Division, CDA Fire Brigade and ambulances participated in the rehearsal.
Following directions of Senior Superintendentof Police Islamabad (SSP) Sajid Kiani, this rehearsal was conducted. During this exercise police officials along with commandos rushed to a site, cordoned off the area after reaching there within seven minutes and took their positions with in approach time.
During this exercise, strict checking on entry and exit points’ started. The purpose of this rehearsal was to prepare cops for emergency situation and to ensure security in the federal capital. SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani have appreciated the response of the police force and said all the wings approach within time and police commandos performed well.
