Alkhidmat signs MoU with HAS to open Aghosh Center in Afghanistan

A welfare body of Jamat-e-Islami, Alkhidmat Foundation on Monday signed a MoU with HAS Afghanistan to open Aghosh Center. The center would provide shelters and ensure welfare of orphans living in Kabul, Afghanistan, said a spokesman of Alkhidmat.
The MoU was signed by Chairman HAS Dr Mohammad Haroon Khatibi and Senior Vice President Alkhidmat Foundation, Syed Ehsanullah Waqas. The representatives of Alkhidmat Foundation including, Secretary General Shahid Iqbal and President KP Region, Khalid Waqas were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Secretary General Shahid Iqbal said Alkhidmat would open Aghosh Center for providing shelters and welfare facilities to 150 orphans residing in Kabul.
He said steps would help strengthen bilateral ties between the neighboring countries. Chairman HAS Dr Haroon Khateemi lauded the services of Alkhidmat and said establishment of Aghosh center in Kabul would remove the sense of deprivations of orphans and would make them useful citizens of the society.
