Jhagra inaugurates Rast Islamic Branch in MTI Hayatabad

KP Minister for Health & Finance, Taimur Saleem Khan Jhagra inaugurated the Rast Islamic Banking branch of the Bank of Khyber (BoK) in Hayatabad Postgraduate Medical Teaching Institute on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, the provincial minister said that the government is disbursing soft loans in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) of the province through Rast Islamic Branches of the Bank of Khyber.
These loans, he said, are subsidized and will put no further burden on the business community as no mark-up will be charged during the first year of the disbursement and only 2% mark-up will be charged during the second year of the repayment. Out of which 4% charges in head of mark-up will be paid by the provincial government to help rehabilitate Corona affected SMEs.
Earlier, the provincial minister, who also holds the portfolio of health in the provincial cabinet also reviewed the modern technical lab in Hayatabad Postgraduate Medical Institute.
He said that after the establishment of the lab, the medical staff of the province will not need to travel abroad for training. He said that for imparting training to the people they are reforming the old and outdated training courses to convert them into modern technical systems.
