Security Forces’ 176 Wing on Sunday organized a free medical camp in the remote area of Kam Shalman in Landikotal tehsil of district Khyber to provide healthcare services to local residents.
A team of male and female doctors examined patients and provided free medicines during the camp. According to officials, a total of 868 patients received medical treatment, including 180 men, 233 women and 455 children.
The initiative was widely appreciated by the local community. Tribal elders thanked commandant Khyber Rifles Colonel Saeed Ahmed, 176 Wing commander Lieutenant Colonel Bilal Liaqat and their team for arranging the medical camp and extending essential healthcare services to people living in the remote area. They praised the security forces for their humanitarian effort and expressed hope that such welfare initiatives would continue in the future.
