Deputy Commissioner Tank Arshad Qayyum Burki Saturday paid a surprise visit to Ramzan Sasta Bazaar and checked the food items on various stalls, listened to the complaints of the people present on the spot and issued instructions for their solution.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the District Food Controller that the cheap bazaar has been set up for the convenience of the people so that availability of all food items and provision of relief to the people which is the top priority of the provincial government should be ensured in all cases. In this regard, all the resources should be utilized to address the grievances of the people so that the people can get maximum relief. Assistant Commissioner Tank Aminullah, Additional Assistant Commissioner Shaukat Iqbal, District Food Controller Salahuddin and officials of Tehsil Municipal Administration were also present on the occasion.
