Police claimed on Saturday to have killed two wanted terrorists and seized rifle and hand grenade from them.
According to Dera Ismail Khan District Police Spokesman, Dera police in a joint with Army and Intelligence killed two terrorist in Gara Guldad area of Kalachi.
Intelligence security forces, including Kalachi police and army, conducted an operation on a tip-off about the presence of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (Gandapur group) terrorists in Guldad area of Kalachi. The terrorists opened fire on police and security forces.
Police and security forces including Kalachi police also returned fire, during which two most wanted terrorists of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan Gandapur group identified as Khalil and Ehsan were killed.
District police spokesperson further said that the slain terrorists were involved in security forces and other sabotage activities, including an attack on DSP Kalachi Mobile in recent days. The slain terrorists were planning attacks on police and other security forces.
Two Kalashnikovs, hand grenades and five magazines were recovered from the possession of the slain terrorists.
