Police claimed to have traced a gang of burglars from the home of a citizen who was going to his hometown during Eid holidays and arrested the ringleader and main accused of the gang.
The accused broke locks of the home during Eid holidays and stole gold jewelery and mobile phones.
According to details, Haji Tayyab a resident of Shinwari Town had reported to Shahpur Police Station that during Eid holidays, unknown accused had stolen gold jewelery and mobile phone worth lakhs of rupees from his house. SHO Shapoor Shakeel Khan and his team with the help of mobile data and CCTV footage held accused identified as Taj Wali.
The arrested accused belongs to Dir district who was a former tenant at the house. Police also recovered stolen from the accused and registered a case against him.
Tula gold jewelery has been recovered from which further important revelations are expected during the investigation.
