In May 2018, under the 25th Amendment to the Constitution, the government of Pakistan amalgamated the former FATA into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and gave them the status of districts.
The Government of Pakistan also released special funds for these districts so that development work could be started on a large scale.
At the same time, special measures were taken to provide health, employment and education facilities to the people. In the tribal districts of Bajaur, Mohmand and Khyber, the Government of Pakistan and the Frontier Corps North completed the construction of large-scale educational institutions.
Like the rest of the tribal districts, Frontier Corps North took important steps to establish a cadet college in Mohmand district and completed the construction of Cadet College in November 2020 that was inaugurated by Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan.
Cadet College Mohmand is providing quality education and training to students from Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber & other tribal districts and other parts of the country under the supervision of experienced and skilled teachers.
Two badges of cadets have completed education in Cadet College Mohmand.
And the students who passed out are pursuing higher studies in the renowned colleges of Pakistan. All the stages of admission in Cadet College Mohmand for the third batch have been completed in May 2022.
In the third batch, 94 students from districts Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber and other parts of Pakistan are studying. Cadet College Mohmand is an important educational institution in Mohmand district in which children of tribal districts are laying the foundation for their bright future.
